I can’t believe it. Do you really mean it? 7 wickets in 3 test matches by the main bowler was good last year? Thats what Sami and Danish did as well. Shoaib was pathetic last year, admit it. Having said that his inclusion would have strengthen Pak pace attack, but attitude like this means these 11 players are zero without him.

I would say let the youngsters fight and lose with pride. Instead of praying for rain and waiting for dramabaaz to come back.

You can give Wasim Akram a dead pitches and skilled batsmen and he might have gotten the same results. I’m not saying Shaoib has the best attitude or that we can’t win without him. But with such a depleted attack (minus Shaoib, Shabbir and Gul) our Pace attack is very weak right now. But bowling is’nt the problem. You can’t win test matches if you never score more than 400 runs.
The batting still is’nt up to par. I am assuming (and hoping) this is because they did’nt get enough practice due to the rain during the practice match. Lets hope they learned their lesson in the 1st innings and come ready to play in the 2nd. I’m sorry but the only teams in the world that have made Pathan and Balaji look like Wasim and Waqar are Bangladesh and Pakistan, that says something.

Elahi bhai we can always remember the old golden days and compare and mull what happened to our bowling strength or we can praise and back them 100%.

What we have is Ok, not saying great but perhaps OK than others

well I can never even in my dreams compare Wasim with Pathan, that is too crazy to even think about it.
