hahaha. Yep. Lets see how it goes in the final and who else makes it there.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Pak’s ranking upgraded after this win.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

A quick review of ESPNCRICINFO comments showed that over 80 pct of Indian origin posters supported Pakistan. There was genuine happiness in the fact that a team from the subcontinent defeated the mighty English.

Having said that, there are Indians and Pakistanis in England who support their Mahan England when England plays other countries. Some do it out of affection for England. Others out of hate for their ex neighbor. The latter would fall in the pathetic category.

Personally, it is support for desi teams all the way.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Why? It’s just a sport.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Congratulations to the Pakistan cricket team and its fans. Pulled the rug from under the feet of the mighty English and shut down the naysayers.

tail dekho, tail kee dihar dekho!

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

With the exception of first match, almost all the matches are won by team batting second.

And this leads to biggest worry: What if Pak bats first in the final. Can they score 340+ to give a tough target to the opponent? I dont think so. So lets see what happens but they may have to bring back Fakhar Zaman as we know his batting skills even though his bowling is very ordinary

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

lol

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Whole social media is erupted right now with indians trying to make fun of Sarfraz’s english and all other sh!t. I wonder why they are so butt hurt upon Pak’s victory over their master.
Had this situation been reversed and India would have won, Pakistanis would never do that. A lot Indians can learn from their neighbors if they want to.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

i made a lot of noise in a happy mood …they were just quiet and smiled a bit. no one congratulated me though. one indian Muslim said few mean things jokingly.

problem is that i cannot open my mouth to tease them otherwise i have a big mouth…and we all know why can’t i open my mouth!

we have lost to them on every ground, in ever major ICC tournament since 1992. aab PD bolay to kaya bolay…

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

I have zero respect for Indians who are butt hurt over Pakistan’s victory. Pooitifs has no place in sports.

Which brings me to another point. Liberals won’t behave like that. And there is little doubt that with beer bans and similar communal based policies, people are becoming more Right leaning. With over 80 pct of the population being a fan of Fake Fakir Double Sri Iyer, can’t expect much better in this climate.

Take religion out of government and things will be fine. Which brings me to the situation of a Shiite Muslim sentenced to death in Pakistan for allegedly insulting the Prophet. Yes indeee we all can learn from each other.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Re Sarfraz English I saw right here in this thread several Indians had come to Sarfraz defense. Stating several Europeans don’t speak Queens English. Haters are everywhere. Some speak Urdu better, some speak English better. What’s the big deal.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

The exclusion of Tuk Tuk Shehzad and wayward Wahab and inclusion of Junaid, Fakhar and Shadab/Faheem has made a difference. With Fakhar batting briskly at the other end even Azhar Ali started to play a few shots as well.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

You mean Faheem Ashraf

It was disgusting to see Rishi Kapoor taking cheap shot at Team Pakistan.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

rishie has generally lifted himself above racism and anti-pak stuff, what did he say. he is the one who was openly advocating inviting Pak plyers to IPL few months ago

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Apart from all bhangras, dance moves and happy jolly mood, let’s not forget that this team Pak is no 8 for a reason. yes they are playing their best but there are problems too which we shd not forget.

On the batting side, the fundamental core is not there and this team will struggle to chase above 250 on a consistent basis. The middle order is extremely brittle for a very long time and is relying on shoiab malik and hafeez which is not good.

Fakhar seems to be a great find but how consistent is he? only time will tell. Many good openers came in last 10 years but faded after 20 matches or so. we need to see more of him before calling him next Gilchrist. Yes i have seen pPakistaniscalling Gilchrist on many other forums.

Babar so far lacks temperament against big teams. Take out WI and his average is very bad. but obviously, we will need to give him more chances.

and yes this team desperately lacking any genuine all rounders which every other top team has. we just dont have power hitters at no 7, 8, 9.

these are plain facts. A no 8 team is a no 8 team and no 1 team is no 1 team for some reason. Few wins here and there will not change the fundamental reality and we need to perform consistently.

The point, few wins do not mean all is good with Pakistani cricket overnight. The first class structure is crap, school cricket has vanished, no international cricket unfortunately in pak is obviously hurting too, urban cricket centers are deteriorating with no serious club cricket in lahore, faislabad, rawalpindi (dont know about karachi)

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher have shown themselves to be foaming at the mouth Right wingers. Low class behavior by Rishi Kapoor.

Re: 1st semi-final: England vs Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff -

ok here is what he said

Rishi Kapoor
:check_mark:[COLOR=#697882]@chintskap

Congratulations Pakistan! You enter finals? Wow! Good to see you wearing our colour BLUE! Get ready to be BLUED now! We will BLUE you away!

what is so wrong in this tweet? he is congratulating Pakistan and then made some light jokes. and why the hell Pakistani team was wearing blue color off ground. i had the same question

didn’t find anything wrong or toxic in Rishi’s tweet. we are being too sensitive

and uncle southie, please stop comparing rishi kapoor with anupam kheer…please stop mixing politics, and cricket uncle. rishie is not anti-paki as you and some other are trying to portray
