How about you refute some of my arguments rather than twisiting my words? Does what this lawyer say mean Canadian system is all of a sudden unjust? There is more justice in one courtroom of Canada than in all of Pakistans. I hope you can understand this. This is not a jirga or panchayat where old men decide on guilt or innocence based on how many girls they can get as gifts from the other tribe.

But you now admit that Muslims are behind these bombings and they are justified because of the perceived "oppression" against them everywhere. Why did it take you so long to admit your true feelings towards terrorism? If you support terror, come out and say it. Don't hide behind accusing others of orchestrating these attacks to blame Muslims.
I'm glad you like looking at the big picture. You should also look at the big picture of what will happen to those murder innocent people through beheadings and bomb attacks because they feel they are "oppressed". Most of the oppression against Muslims is committed by fellow Muslims like the late Zarqawi. He got his punishment in this world and Inshallah he will get it in the hereafter.
And yes, I will cry for any innocent killed, whether in American or Pakistan at the hands of Americans or Muslims or Buddhists. You can continue laughing about it, if it it is indeed the best you can do.

I have accepted wrong acts of terrorism, and I have also accepted alot of other facts, but you can't even accept the fact that these people are not given their rights. Keep believing what you can...

I'd have to agree about the strange way the Canadian system is handling this case. This case should be no different from any other criminal case. What do they have to prove by not providing due rights to the suspects. It's nonsense. We're not Americans, we're not running guantanamo here.

If they are innocent and proven as such, that means the Canadian system works. No crying there, other then feeling sorry for these guys. The trial hasn't even started yet, so let's wait and see.

Nothing to be surprised about Cres...First of all, it's a Canadian paper...Newspapers there enjoy much more freedoms than they do in the States here...Here, any news is a feeding frenzy of who makes a news item more sensational than the other...
The more a newspaper asks for blood in the US, the more patriotic it is deemed to be...Not only the news, but the whole of media as a whole...
Secondly, there are not just the writer of this paper, but many others, even in the States, non-Muslims who can see through the fog of lies...They are objective in their reporting and believe a person deserves benefit of doubt...It is what is expected of any individual with an intellect enough to decipher the knowledge that he receives...
Do you think Muslims are the only ones who can be taught or trained to think objectively? Even mod-Muslims, who tout the benefits of free thinking and justice and peace...Bring up the old thread when this news was first posted here by Hinna and see the frenzy behind the words calling for the blood of these guys by the very ones that mock others for being narrow minded and extremists...
The article is truly a piece of objective observation...
Unlike the papers in the States which already would have called for sending these guys to the gallows...The news here has ceased to be news anymore...It's just a massive tool of manipulation and sensationalism...Nothing else...

two men arrested at the US/Cdn. border for trying to smuggle guns/ammo into Canada two years ago.
car that they were driving was rental.
rental was booked on the credit card of an imaam.
imaam is "suspected ring leader" of this cell and one of 17 arrested.
guess the two men must have been framed too, huh? border officials must have "slipped" the evidence into the car while they were searching it.

I was working in TO during the runup to your elections in Jan. Listening to this and that about Bush and U.S. Well your conservatives blew away the liberals by a much greater margin than in 2004 U.S. elections.
