How can you be so ignorant as to condemn muslims as terrorists, when the Prophet pbuh clearly told us not to judge anyone until you can prove he has done something wrong. What about those fundamental laws? of Muslim brotherhood? Are you so ignorant of that?

y would any common person buy 3 tons of fertilizer? these people did not own farms or were in the lawn business. how many households in mississauga have 3 tons of fertilizer stacked up? AND not only did they have a large amount of a ingredient that can be used to make explosives, they were in possession of guns and detonators. these people were tracked down and were under surveillance before the arrests.
the medias portrayal of the issue maybe wrong. but these people were not doing the right thing either.
and as to can i read their minds..of course i can't. but i can make a logical assumption that anyone in possession with guns, detonators, and ammonium nitrate is harboring ill intentions. can u prove me otherwise?
show me ONE common person in the whole of canada that is in possession of guns, home made detonators, and 3 tons of fertlizers at the SAME time.
and yes, anyone can purchase fertlizer. BUT why would anyone purchase 3 tons of fertlizer? if u say farmers..well these ppl weren't farmers..if u say to do the lawn..then these ppl weren't lawn guys...
tomorrow if someone comes to me saying someone i know is related to Al-Qaida, i will look at the proof. if they are in possession of arms and ammuntion and explosive devices and if they are, i will wish that the authorities hang them. People with extremist ideologies and intentions of killing innocent civilians will never get any mercy from me, be it my own brother father or son!
The Prophet (SAW) said not to judge ppl. i am not judging people. do u have evidence for their innocence? currently, with their ideologies and possessions all logical assumptions say that they were upto no good. and were caught in the act of planning.
And u as a canadian should be thankful to canadian authorities that they saved u from an attack. God forbid if someone u know may have died in them.

Guns?? Bomb Detonators??? When did these kids have possession of such items?? It was flash lights, cellphones, wires, and fertilizer.
ANd as for the fertilizer, it could be for anything, for example the mosque they were aiding.

As a fellow Torontonian, I'd like to chime in here.
So far, nothing has been proven in court. Nothing.
So far, the RCMP, CSIS (not the most trustable organization), and local police allege a plot, and allege evidence.
All fine. Let due process take it's course.
Now, I'm no lawyer, but I seriously think our law enforcement and legal system is taking some strange turns.
For one, the media and politicians are being briefed on the outgoing investigation. The defense lawyers are NOT. This is completely unacceptable. According to one of the defense lawyers, he is getting most of his information from the newspapers and the CBC. I'm sorry, but this is how kangaroo courts operate. Unless the anti-terror courts be brought to standards, it MUST be understood that the way the judicial system is setup, any one of us can be brought to charges, and any sort of evidence presented without hope of due process.
I'm not suggesting that this is a set-up. But theoretically, nothing is preventing one except the "good word" of our law enforcement officials, and the judiciary which seems to be siding with the crown...which is tantamount to joining forces with the police force. Separation of powers is the basis of our civil society, and this kind of state of affairs flies in the face of it...
If the case is so rock solid, why withhold information from the defense lawyers? Why feel the need to leak out information on an ongoing investigation (a big no-no), why the need to brief politicians (another big no no).
We shall see how things turn out. I don't like what I see so far...

My honest opnion.
The design of this raid reeks of a media oriented operation. That said, I have enough faith in the Canadian judicial system to realize that there is certainly substance to some of the charges, if not most of the charges.
I would say to anyone who wants to participate in such activities, go back to Pakistan, Somalia or wherever you come from and do what you like over there. No one asked you to live in Canada and the west. If people like this insist on bringing disgrace to our muslim communities we should be proactive in helping police to catch them

By setting a good example, I am sure we will be able to shrug off the bad publicity…And then perhaps seeing how Muslims turn in their own people, the Israelis will bring forward the criminals like Sharon who perpetrated the Sabra and Shatila massacres and the Deir Yasin massacre too…
And of course, then Americans being a race of law abiding, moral citizens will turn in George Bush and their men in uniforms for war crimes against humanity…
Seeing this, the Serbian army’s criminals will also step forward followed by the criminals of the Kashmir and Gujrat massacres…
After that, we will see Russian platoons and brigades turning themselves in for their role in Chechnya…
Truly, we Muslims must set a good example by turning our people in first…
