are you kidding me ? since when our religious scholars have announced anything which will provide relief to common people? they are here to increase sufferings not to reduce
and even if these poor laborers who have to spent time under the sun in 40+ degrees and work dont fast, there is no water or food available for them. the whole city is shut down in ramadan. dhabas closed, tea stalls closed, restaurants closed, people have even removed self-serviced water coolers outside their homes in their so called respect for ramandan. mohammad hanif wrote a moving piece on this social evilness. pls read it here.
