What constitute 12 Masala?

Is it just a term or really contain 12 items / spices?

google uncle says tht its is basically garam masala, because gaeram masala is made by using 12 spices

yes this is actually garam masala... which includes 12 masaley

yes, it does contain 12 spices and is called garam masaala [Bollywood kii masala movies to suni hogii na? haha]...and, they are:

07. zaaifal
08. chhoTii ilaaichii
09. ??? [yaad nahiiN aa rahaa]

jab 12 masale (garam masale) main haldi, laal mirch, dhania hota hai to ye cheezen alag se bhi kiyun daali jati hain

oops…i was wrong…yeh teenoN cheezeN nahiiN hotii haiN bal k zeera aur kaalii mirch kii donoN aqsaam hotii haiN ya’nii siyaah N safed zeera, aur isii taraH kaalii gol micrh aur safed gol mirch…sorry…that’s what i thought too!

cinnamon ko to daar/daal chinnii kahte haiN...yeh kia maraThi lafz hai? maiN ne to nahiiN sunaa kabhii :( because of the letter QAAF [q], as you spelled, looks like its an Arabic word OR a Faarsii word...is it?
