If the war in Afghanistan (in 79) was a jehad why did the militants take help from CIA?

Isn’t it the height of hypocrisy? And a hypocrite is called a “munafiq”.

I personally support democratic process, and I say Syria should be a democracy instead of Bashar’s dictatorship; but it is just hypocrisy from these munafiqeen that they get help from America when it suits them.

sometimes I feel that we are facing the consequences of our own policies, we used these proxies against Russia and India and now we are facing the brunt ourselves.

One more thing is that we lost the support of Kashmiris by our backing of such khawarij groups. Kashmiris earlier wanted to be a part of Pakistan, but after what Hizbul Mujahideen etc. did, their majority wants to become an independent country.
