Military action is just a stopgap arrangement.

The British Government also had to sit down with IRA terrorists (who killed innocents over almost 3 decades from 1969-1997) and peace was eventually achieved through dialogue not by military means

Actually, the people of North Ireland, Kashmirs, Kurds, Blochs, etc., have legitimate demands, and to compare them to band of criminal terrorists like TTP is like comparing apples and oranges. TTP does not have territorial demands or claim to represent any groups or have economic or political grief, but they want to impose their backward religious beliefs on others. If you think that women should not be educated, minorities should be forced to convert or killed; anyone who disagree with TTP version of Islam deserves to be killed, than I’m sorry but thats crazy talk. You can’t reason with irrational murderous pigs like these. Only thing they deserve is bullet in head.
