Now that jury is out…wait…no.. I mean now that judgement has already been passed, there is no point in mentioning that it was a sarcasm on hugely exaggerated stats. In isolated societies it might not be far fetched but for overall women, hugely far fetched.

I don't think the numbers a far fetched.
They might seem far-fetched because people have different opinions about what consititutes abuse.
Just because most men on this forum will not abuse a woman in their lifetime, doesn't mean it is not happening elsewhere in the world.
