He is the person who initiated making of atom bomb in Pakistan. Today Pakistan army talk to India in equal terms because of this person. Had he not initiated such program, I wonder how Pakistani generals would have resposnded to Indian threats. It is a shame same army killed this person who was founder of this program. Now it is a time that he should be given due respect and declare him as real father of nation.

well like you’ve said many times, civilians have no control in Pakistan and the military calls all the shots. So we can conclude that this was actually initiated by the military and this dude was just a figurehead so he should get no credit.

I think that for short time , Bhutto was more power ful than army. So he was the only civilian dictator of pakistan so far. ( Hope IK will not try to be the 2nd ) . Can u imagine a report like Hamoodur rahman be written in today’s pakistan ???

You are twisting words.

ZAB courageously ensured Pakistan would be a strong nuclear nation, despite being directly warned by Kissinger and the Americans not to do so - this is a fact.

Part of the reason the American’s supported the evil Zia, in overthrowing him.

Pakistan owes a lot to shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Quaid was only founder of Pakistan, he did not live to govern Pakistan. The rumor is that he was poisonoed and so was his sister. Quaid’s Pakistan was gone in 1971 when majority left Pakistan. Ask Bangali what he thinks about Quaid. ZAB gave his life but he gave atomic bomb to Pakistan. Today army talk to India on equal terms absolutely because of him. I think recognizing his great services to Pakistan deserve him to be father of nation.
