zits after getting face waxed

Re: Help!!! How to get rid of bumps after waxing

I think the easiest for you to purchase would be Witch Doctor Witch Hazel Skin Treatment Gel. You can get it from Superdrug. This is what I used to bring down the inflammation after electrolysis and it worked wonderfully.

The Body Shop tea tree oil is a little expensive but it's ready to apply to skin without further dilution. You just want to put one or two drops on a cotton pad and gently swipe on the face where you had the waxing. Don't over use it. If you do happen to get any pimples, you can spot treat with a Q-tip.

On daily basis I use a witch hazel hydrolat but that would be too weak for your purposes.

Re: Help!!! How to get rid of bumps after waxing

Hi, Im not sure if anyone has suggested this yet or not because I havent read the whole thread. I had the same problem. I get my face waxed often and I would always get huge breakouts immediately after having it done. Then just one trick changed all of that. After you have it done, splash your face with cold water a number of times (dont use soap or a cleanser). Then apply a thin layer of polysporin. Leave it on for a couple of hours and then wipe or wash off. then apply a very thin layer of it at night too before bed. You will have 0 zits, I promise.
