Yes let's all respect the Israelis with the awe and dignity they deserve. Let's congratulate them and send money and flowers. Hey sure they practice American funded and sponsered ethnic cleansing and genocide on a scale larger than any other in modern times (they've actually displaced an entire people from there homeland) - but hey they are democratic and a relatively open society so it's ok.

My dear what world do you live in. Nothing is hear to stay. 50+ years ago there was no Israel. 300+ years ago there was no U.S. Things change in this world when a people capable of making the change make it so.
Isreal exists today because European Jews emerged from WW2 as victims and got the blessings from the victors of the war and the prize was Israel. It was created by giving land to Jews that they did not occupy. The faces of Israelis prove that they are from the west (Europe mostly). Palestinians were forced to vacate so that Jews could move in. Ethnic cleansing.
All this happened because the west is powerful at this time. They decided this needed to be done, so it was done. Since the Muslims are not as powerful as the west right now, they are incapable of opposing this in-justice. But, there will come a time when the roles are reversed, because Israel is surrounded by millions of Muslims, it's existence is not permanent. Israeli power is from the weapons it gets from the west. Once that edge is removed, I would like to see how brave the Israelis are then.
