I don’t think that’s fair on Zidane tbh…I’m too young to have seen Maradona in his prime but I have seen enough of his matches and clips to make an informed judgment. imo Zidane was the more talented and technical of the two. I think Zidane’s flair on the pitch and his control over the ball was just unparalleled. Some of his technical moves were just flawless and quite simply beautiful to watch. He made it look so so easy. I’d say the best midfielder ever imo.
