ZINDAGI QAID HAY

**BulundiyaaN, Gehraai-yaaN
hudd-e-nazar tak phaila hua
yay husn mujh ko
zindgi ki taraf bulaatay rahay

goonjtay aabshaaroN ki dhamak,
falak per chaand taaroN ki chamak
Khushboo-oN main bharay yay chaman
titliyoN ka haseeN baankpan

KEYA YEHI ZINDAGI HAY?

magar…
laykin…
shayad…

nahiN, yay zindagi to nahiN
zindagi to bohat talKh hay, qaid hay…
bay reham waqt kay dermiyaaN

Bay reham waqt nay
titlyaaN cheen ker
choTay choTay say bachoN kay haatoN maiN ab
rung-e-KhooN bher diya

un ki sochoN peh phir paabundiyaaN lug gaeeN
qaid kerkay unhaiN
adh-mara kerdiya

sub hee khaamosh haiN
kuch bhi kehtay nahiN
ro rahay haiN, agarchay sada-aiN nahiN
saans layna hay laykin
hawaa-aiN nahiN
ho asar jin main aysi
duaa-aiN nahiN

sub hee kuch qaid hay
waqt kay haath main

bahut khoob!

kuch is tarah se zindagi ke yeh lamhat guzray
ke tootte bikharte hi rahe phir bhi woh mere saath guzray

waqt ne dhaya hai sitam kuch is tarah se mujhpar
ke dokhay bhi milay to mile humsafar bankar

yeh soch ke ab chup hoon ke ruswaee hogi
dil ne bhi di hai gawahi ke jag hasaee hogi!
