Not a day goes by without some kind of terrible news coming out of Pakistan. WTH is the government doing? They give a statement saying 'it's a sad day' and they think their work is done.
Why don't Pakistanis revolts against the government and make them work for Pakistan. I'm sick and tired of our government's inability to keep people safe. It's about time we rise up and take back Pakistan. And inshallah that day is not far.
The taleban arent really beating the government are they? at best they are able to pull off bombings of easy targets every so often. Wont accomplish anything except add to their list of murders. So would you give the same advice to them?
This is not a particularly long fight yet. Besides the Prophet’s city state remained in a state of war for decades (during his life and after his death)
If its a good fight, as this one absolutely is, its worth fighting.
And abandon a part of our country to the criminals. The ones we are fighting are pretty unpopular where they are most active (i.e. NWFP), in fact least popular compared to all other provinces.

How about the incompetent authorities in Pakistan, who keep letting this happen. Why has the Punjab Home Minister not resigned. Why has Rehman Malik not publicy appologized. This will continue to happen untill the police is reformed, and the state imposes its authority on the country.

One wonders whether they were revenge attacks for the recent murder of deobandi religious leader Mufti Saeed Ahmed Jalalpuri. Most Talib and Al-Qaeda suicide bombers and beheaders belong to deobandi (the most radical and intolerant form of sunnis) or wahabi/salafi religious school of thought

I don't want to support provincialism he is indulging in but what he said is right, home minister/security ministry should resign, but then its Pakistan we are talking about where ministers openly say that corruption is their right.

I agree on the whole we have pathetic government and systems but lets keep race, provincialism out of it, it has already damaged Pakistan so much. I guess it is high time that we unite for our country. Our prosperity is temporary if our country is sinking. I think The best way to fight against all these terrorist pockets in Pakistan is to unite against them.
