Mugabe is scum of the earth. A few days ago a pregnant wife of an opposition leader had her hand and both of her feet cut off. They then locked her into a shed where they pour petrol all over, lite it on fire killing her. Mugabe was responsible. He’s promising violence if he loses the runoff election, he’s had food Aid that was headed to school children stolen and passed out to his supporters, and he is having his thugs attack and kill his opponents supporters before the election occurs.
The U.S. is urging the United Nations Security Council to take up the issue. Will the UN once again be shown what a joke it can be and ignore what is happening?

HARARE - Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe says liberation war veterans are ready to take up arms to prevent the opposition winning a June 27 presidential run-off.
The state-owned Herald newspaper quoted Mugabe as telling supporters at a rally on Thursday that the veterans had asked him if they should be ready to fight.
“They came to my office after the (disputed March 29) elections and asked me: ‘Can we take up arms?’,” Mugabe said.
The Herald said Mugabe told the war veterans that he did not want the country to go back to war but said Zimbabwe would never be ruled by the opposition MDC, which won the first round.
Movement for Democratic Change leader Morgan Tsvangirai, human rights groups and Western powers accuse Mugabe of unleashing a brutal campaign to win the run-off.

**US Calls Zimbabwe Food Aid Hijacking Unconscionable**
The United States Thursday condemned as unconscionable behavior the hijacking by Zimbabwe security forces last week of a truckload of food aid intended for hungry school children.
