Today was the biggest annihalation seen in a 1 day game…N Zealand getting close to 400 with 6 overs remaining…what a pathetic performance this was…
What i fail to understand though is why Zimbabwe have become so bad…fair enough they have lost some good players like the Flower brothers, Goodwin, Olonga etc…but a lot of the players that were at least average before have become appalling…Zimbabwe were never a good batting side but they were ok with the ball and now…my god they are awful…Blignaut actually was once upon a time a decent all rounder…someone who could break partnerships rather than make partnerships when bowling…and someone who could hit a ball…now hes suddenly become useless…Utseya has an economy of under 4 an over but got trounced on today…Streak is a shadow of his former self…and Taibu is not that brilliant player we thought he would become…
Two seasons ago this was more or less the same team…but two years ago the team wasnt this bad…They just got a new coach so you would think the players would be keen to perform but they are getting worse and worse…I shudder to think what Geoff Boycott would say about them…
What does everyone think the reason is for this appalling form?..
