ahemmm......

since the deadly duo (walsh and ambrose) retired the windies bowling attack has been gr8tly exposed with so many bowlers being tried by the windies cric board over the last 2 years, but thus far a winning combination like walsh and ambrose has not being found.

although there seem to be 2 promising natural quickies for the future, lawson and edwards who seem to be good quality wicket taking bowlers.

The only good bowler in the Windies team currently is Jermaine Lawson and he too is injured, other then him you got bunch of Black Umar Guls.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

ah - this sets a good match up between West Indies and Zimbabwe - bookies have gone 2-0 in favor of West Indies but Heath Streak century ton - Tatenda Taibu and Andy Blignaut's remarkable resistance has lifted up Zimbabwe side - without Flower Brothers Zimbabwe are pretty much without experience players.

i think the first Test match will be drawn.

or black Junaid Zias? I think Umar is ahead of Junaid.

Embedded Ball Stops Play](Yahoo is part of the Yahoo family of brands.)

A freak mishap involving a cricket ball and a pitch roller held up play in the first Test between Zimbabwe and the West Indies here on Thursday.

The incident occurred as a roller was being used on the wicket shortly before the match was due to resume on the third morning.

A practice ball hit from the outfield landed under the roller’s massive cast-iron barrel and was squashed into the turf at the city end of the ground.

It left a deep hole in the hard, dry pitch, near the batting crease.

Groundstaff hoped to borrow an auger from a nearby golf club so that they could plug the hole with a lump of turf.

The match was not expected to resume before the scheduled lunch break.

At the close of play on the second day, West Indies were 11 without loss in reply to Zimbabwe’s first-innings total of 507 for nine declared.
