'Carrying the bat through a completed innings' does not necessarily reflect badly on the opposition bowling attack. As you can see from the list, on 29 of those 47 occasions (i.e. 61.70% of the time) when batsmen carried the bat, the team's innings total did not exceed 300!!
And it is actually only useful if it helps your team win or save the game .... Zimbabwe did not win any of those games, they lost twice and Grant Flower's 156 was in a drawn game
An even bigger surprise is to see 'useless' Imran Farhat's name in such an exclusive list ... and seeing him achieve that in an away game, in Napier!!
