Samb hate Zia as much as you want for hanging Bhutto (though he was no saint IMO for reasons that I have already mentioned above) but all the other things people keep accusing him of notably promoting drug and Kalashnikov culture are nothing but an eyewash. Those things would have happened regardless of who would have been in power then. What do you really expect when you have 4 million ‘uninvited’ refugees - most of them not known for any special skills other than drugs and arms - suddenly invading your western borders!
I think even worse was having to wear khaki shalwar suit in schools!
