Zelensky, being just another pretty face representing the Ukrainian government which was installed by the US in 2014 there, has merely symbolic value and is a rubber stamp. NATO and NATO-Plus are not the same thing. India refused NATO-Plus because India was not getting any benefit from NATO-Plus which India was not already getting from the US.

India is not doing that for free. India is exploiting Russia to buy the cheapest oil in the largest quantities ever and then reselling it to Europe to make big bucks, that India is investing in the US and in turn making even more money. There is no breaking of rank regarding Russia. While Pakistan has tried to take a neutral position and is developing relations with Russia, Pakistan also sympathizes with people of Ukraine regardless of who is in the government there. Ukraine and Pakistan have enjoyed friendly relations for a long time. Hundreds of students used to go there every year and we also buy wheat from them. In fact I was hoping Pakistan would have supported Ukraine in the general assembly after Zelensky called. I say so because Pakistan should abide by UN charter as much as possible and support weaker countries in UN General Assembly even if it upsets friendly countries sometimes.
