Have u guys seen them? I just finished watching them…
My thoughts on the show;
One word-RUBBISH! Argh the performances were blah…the hosting was blah except few good lines here n there…many people were missing like rani, amitabh, etc. Also the camera work was a disaster…i cant believe it…it luked like an amateur’s work. I watched them only cuz i read Salman came…ofcourse only when he came on stage or was shown at the audience were the highlights of the show…he looked damn cute n was very well dressed as alwayz. However it was so not Salman…doing the whole dance act during kat’s performance. I laughed so hard cuz one can neva imagine salu doing that…i dun know he is just not that kind…but my gawd he luked so adorable-Mashallah when he suddenly stood up n starting singing the song. I cant believe how confident these stars are and Salman really surprised me this time. And than when he came 2 announce the award he was very nice 2 every1…i saw how he didnt meet one of the guys who came on stage cuz there was a rush but afterwards he went 2wards him 2 greet him. He was really in a good mood and i wud have luved 2 see more of him at the awards. Also when kat was performing na…just when she got done with her songs salman gave such an expression as sum1 wud be thinking kay oh kat didnt do that good but he was tryin 2 give her a look kay oh it was good. LOL!
But the whole sal-kat act was repeated with ash-abhi and it luked so funnie…even they came as a couple 2 announce the awards. It all looked really odd 2 me…way to much similarity lol. Also that traitor bunty was sitting with ash and i cudnt stop laughing recallin how he had said that ash didnt know that abhi wud come 2 get her on stage…what the ****? how exactly did she know the steps 2 the dance …the same ones that the girls in the back were doing. And her dress was so cheap n vulgar and she may be 2 yr older 2 abhi but looks like atleast 5 yrs older 2 him.
Overall it was a bad show…actually i havent seen a good bollywood award show for yrs now…and y is every1 hiting the other below the belt with some stupid comments…shilpa truly has learned how 2 defend herself and i agreed with her but kj got back 2 her meanly 1stly by saying sumthin like enjoy yr glory/fame b4 leaving and than when he came back, by saying “oh ya mostly they do think they r actresses” when saif asked if she was an actress when he was blindfolded. The whole vinod chopra thingy…i do realise his movie was popular n shud have worn popular awards 2 but wth yaar…he says the same at every function but is that gonna change ever? NO! Also i think some of the announcers were drunk like subhash ghai…wat was he on? lol…n feroz khan…he was way off and i bet raveena noticed that 2 cuz she gave such an expression standing at back.
As for performances? katrina sucked big time…the saving grace of her performance was but oh very obvious salman. Kat cant dance properly even 2 western numbers than y the hell they gave her teh whole indian dance thingy in start. In that chakna song tu she didnt do well…plus her outfit didnt compliment her body type…i have seen her wear this or perhaps sumthin very similar b4 too in some stage performance of hers…she looks nice in long fitted skirts like sumthin she wore during her perfomance with akki at sum award show. Ash sucked 2…lol wth was the whole chinesey thingy for and the other part was weird 2…abhi was not good this time around…he is usually good in his live performances but he wasnt himself at this performance i dun know y…kiron kher was cute hehe…the whole ritesh performance was a drag and annoyinggggggg…priyanka and srk sucked 2…lol seriously it was suc a badly choregraphed show. Oh and i totally forgot abt preity…wat the hell was she tryin 2 do? lol…and the faltu girls wala performance was bad 2.
Urmila luked really nice…her saree was very pretty…shilpa luked nice 2 and her dress was also nice. seri was lukin nice 2 and for a change rekha luked nice cuz she dressed her age. Preity was dressed rather 2 casual for an awards function but luked nice.
Overall it was such a bad show and i must have enjoyed only abt 4 mins of the show or even less…just the amount salman was shown for.
