this been making waves on social media, his fan who are mostly muslims are shook and disappointed, however as somebody that’s struggled with his faith I think people should just let him be.

Never knew that actually. He look like such pious Muslim with tattoos, having premarital sex with multiple women, drink alcohol and drug addicted. Wah shabash puttar such good musulman. Actually it doesn't matter he left Islam because he never was good Muslim anyways and is on a downward spiral to drug addiction since his career has already ended

Faith or beliefs translate into actions. Actions should align with beliefs. So, I believe that faith and practice go hand in hand. I personally don't even consider this to be news-worthy. It's a no-brainer that Zayn Malik's lifestyle conflicts with Islamic values in many ways. If he left the religion, so be it. It would come as more of a shock to me if someone who is very religious were to leave Islam.

I guess since that music career isn't really working out and being Gigi's man also isn't interesting enough to keep him in the spotlight he had to "come out" (lol) with this. As other users have said, I don't really think people were checking for him because he was such a pious Muslim lol.
