Zardari's sense of humor..

I read the news item in yesterdays paper about Asif Zardaris statements. I have always observed that statements of Asif Zardari are classic with a tinge of pun and very funny. He sure has a good sense of humor..

This one was classic.. he said when asked about the question of sending army to Iraq that he was in favor of sending army to Iraq - only if brigadiers and generals were sent there…

He alaso said that Govt sure has some magic potion since all attempts on the lives of Govt people fail but opposition members are killed 100 % by such strikes (reference to Pir Baniamin, Suharwardi etc.)

It will be a big lashkar, even if only Brigadiers and Gernerls be sent there.

The brigadiers and generals have already seen much worst combat times than the soldiers of today, since the brigadiers and generals of today were the captains and lieutenants of '65 and '71. Its dumb of Zardari to expect them to go into a war zone now at age 55.

Regarding killings of politicians, government officials obviously have more security and cordon around them compared to someone from an opposition party, who perhaps is not even an MPA.

Zardari has been wronged in that he hasnt been put on trial for all these years. That I disagree with the govt on. But as far as zardaris comments are concerned, hes just a nut job.

I remember when he was attending Tarar's speech (when he was allowed to come to the parliament for the joint session), the opposition was pretty loud and angry, while he was shouting 'brief case bawa' with a smirk on his face! That was classic!

he is not a genuine politician

i just kall him a “spoiled husband”

his statements r not serious

in politics if u r saying some thing funny … that also should carry some mesage in it

Sheikh Rasheed is the one who has this sense his statements do have a message in them which strike very well … he is a big mouth … if u remember his statements at the SAARC information ministers conference in Delhi last year … :k: he just stunned his interviewer when he called the Indians “munafiqs” in hidden words
