I am personally not a fan of geo too much…but they are prompt to report news and they do have the biggest news channel/music channel in pakistan and for me its just shocking that geo has been banned in parts of pakistan over reporting the shoe throw at zardari
i mean is this a joke? why dont we block cnn or every other news station that reported the shoe throw
geo may be quite lame sometimes but i choose geo over our government whos so scared of geo because it reports the truth! instead of banning something else they should try to help our dying civilians!
what are your thoughts on this issue (btw im not sure i should have posted this topic in this forum so the mods can adjust it if they will)
lol thats funny. geo ko nahi block hona chahiye tha. well the world knows about the incident...its all over the youtube...so it wasnot something that ppl were waiting for geo to report about it. the ban should be lifted.
It wasn't just Geo, ARY news was also banned. Zardari deserves all the shoes and insults thrown at him. PPP made such a noise about freedom of media during Musharraf's presidency, it's ironic they ended up doing the same deed themselves.
i'm not a big fan of zardari but the shoe was thrown on the " President of Pakistan".... no matter how corrupt he is, he has got the title of a president... and geo dealt with the situation badly!
