Zardari runaway to dubai.. COAS meet PM...

Zardari is due in Tehran on Wednesday for a regional economic conference. A Pakistani source told FOX News that he is then due in his former home in exile Dubai, and there is a strong possibility he may not return to Pakistan in the short term if tensions continue to rise or perhaps in the longer term if the political situation slides into chaos. During this week’s absence, Interior Minister Rehman Malik is essentially in charge. Meanwhile… Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani met with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Re: Zardari runaway to dubai.. COAS meet PM…

Amidst a political showdown between the government and the opposition, Army chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani on Wednesday met Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed the political and security situation in the country. The meeting comes against the backdrop of a major crackdown on lawyers and opposition party activists ahead of a nationwide protest. Kayani called on Gilani at the Prime Minister’s House and discussed matters of national importance. Official sources told that the two leaders had discussed the internal security situation and political issues. The two leaders met at a time when President Asif Ali Zardari is out of the country to attend a summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation in Tehran. The government moved to refute media reports that Zardari was going to UAE and might not be present when the opposition march to press for reinstatement of judges sacked during the 2007 emergency takes place.

Re: Zardari runaway to dubai.. COAS meet PM...

Man what kind of clown show is this.........Zardari is seeing protests and runs away to Dubai

I wonder in how many days the Army will step in and end this pathetic circus

It's been less than a year since the first Parliament session and people are already asking for the Army to intervene in acts of democratically elected govt. :)

Re: Zardari runaway to dubai.. COAS meet PM...

Presedent of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr Asif Ali Zardari came back last night.
Please dont view lies at TV whole day
It can effect......................................................

You call it a pathetic circus... no wonder why we are in such a mess....

its not circus but unfortunately we as a nation have too many jokers , for whom it matters most to make money then to have a honorable living, who prefer mushy over democratic government because they earned more...
therefore we consider/make everything a circus doesnt matter how sacred it is..

although we have majority of jokers but i belive change has always brought about by very few, God gifted, blessed individuals others are just a herd/crowd.

what ever it is i consider it sacred, God Given opportunity to transform us as a nation and it has already..

anyone who have seen 90s long march although i was too young would agree with me that things have changed, lathi charge is considered a sin, you can just humiliate people and get away with it, benchmarks of protests have changed now you are not supposed to hurt public or property and even yesterday i saw it.
while guys in long march in karachi were harassed by police they stood fast didnt do a thing to hurt passers by who were on highway , although i was getting emotional as asking them to react (they were on twitter posting live) .

and those living abroad should watch their language they dont deserve to make an argument about whats happening here , if you care so much come and bear it with us otherwise shut up or not to call it circus you arent living in a dreamland but under a satanic govt as well who arent any less than taliban...

would like to end it with a quote no body can stop an idea whose time has come.

now as expected sherry rehman has resigned...
every crisis brings an opportunity.

pakistan zindabad.
