Zardari offers governorship to Iftikhar Chaudhry**
LAHORE: Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has offered the position of Balochistan governor to Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, the sacked chief justice of Pakistan, Aaj television channel reported on Thursday. The channel said Zardari made the offer through Iftikhar’s counsels Aitzaz Ahsan, Athar Minallah, and Munir A Malik

I agree with brother Aalsi here. Mashahallah CF will make a great Governor. He's always wanted to exert executive powers from judicial bench anyway, now he'll get a chance to enjoy it officially, and get Guards of Honor everyday if he wishes. Win Win for everybody.

Good offer or not, this ain't gonna fly at all. Ifti Chaudhry is being used by all parties as a way to go after Mushy. I don't think any influential player at this time is enamored about Ifti's judicial brilliance.

Zardari was, is and will always be a crook. And he should not forget that its b/c of judges, lawyers, media and civil society that country is where it is today. People have made too many scarifies to let crooks like Zardari decide fate of illegally ousted judges & the independence of judiciary. The count down for 30 day has started...let see what happens...

It is amazing that they would leave behind all the elected members and offer positions to those who didn't even take part in the elections. Seems like a sugar coated attempt by zardari to prevent the reinstatement of CJ.

^^Chaudhry Iftekhar has just to refuse that ofer and stay on his princple of reinstatement to the position of CJ. Zardari alone can not do anything. Read follwoing:
