btw what happened to restoring the judges being the 1st priority! irony irony! if Mushy & co go to court (which they would, since the charge sheet is pathetic. missing persons case could make a much better case), supreme court will take the whole blame. well executed NS. :D
^ Thats Zardari, not NS, because zardari has alot to lose if the independent and free judiciary is restored prior to the senile dictator's impeachment. I think the way to go about it would be to restore them first, and then declare the Nov emergency as a crime and hold Musharraf accountable for it, just skip the impeachment process and go straight for the kill but zardari wont buy that because of the NRO. He wants to go solely after Mush, in a discrete way, giving Musharraf a ray of hope to fight his case.

oh hello...since when imposing emergency became a crime ..he used his powers!..its as simple as that!
why are these bumwipes always holding their talks in Dubai? Pehla mulk hai jii ke leaders/politicians Dubai/UK main baith karr meetings karte hain - hate that.
Then perhaps this is also desire of majority Pakistanis that he should leave. If you consider all Pakistanis as crooks, then aren't you chip of the same wall?

One thing that no one talked about is the fact that they can use the route where the provincial assemblies would take on the president:
The aim of the coalition partners by going into this lengthy exercise of moving provincial assemblies against Musharraf would be to exert maximum pressure on President as, on this count, they (coalition partners) would surely defeat him. In these circumstance, President would either step down or become in a very difficult position to fight the impeachment move.
The sources termed it a quite smart move on part of the coalition partners; going about the impeachment directly would not be an easy task as they were already around 10 to 12 short of the requisite strength and in the process the things could swing in either direction.
While it is the right decision by coalition to impeach Musharraf, but I don’t think anything will come out of it. Looks to me another drama by Naek and Zardari. I don’t think Zardari is sincere in this. You can tell this by reading the charges they have leveled against Mush. They are a joke. I also doubt coalition will get enough votes to win the motion. Even if by some miracle impeachment motion is passed in NA Mush can still appeal against the motion in Supreme Court. He has the right, in the same SC which Musharraf hand picked. Do you really think SC will go against him? This will make their jobs insecure too because by removing mush you open up the way to bring back deposed CJ’s. CJ Dogar is a very close friend of Zardari/ Benazir and that is why he was picked up after Nov 03 PCO. He will never let musharraf go. That is the reason why Nawaz was insisting for CJ Iftikhar to be reinstated before impeaching motion. I just wonder why he budged from his position.
Even If Mush is removed, most likely Zardari will take over as the President. Do you all really want Zardari to be the next President of Pakistan? He is the biggest crook in the world. Do you all really think Zardari is better than Mush?
^^^^ As long caolition is working in removal of this president, who cares if some one is sincere or not. As regard Zaradari's becoming president, I doubt. He had a good chance to become PM but he did not. Some also speculated about that too. Why do you think he is interested in that position? I don't think so. The best persons for that position is Javed Hashmi, Amin Fahim or Aitezaz Ahsan.
