I wonder what that has to with Pakistanis electing the worst of leaders.
I wonder what happened to accountability sense of parhay likhay while they blame "jaahil" of electing worst leaders.

Re: Zardari interview in WSJ/asks for $100billion, terms Kashmir fighters as terroris
Are we sure that majority of Pakistanis support kashmir struggle? Is their a poll conducted on it recently?
May be, just may be, majority is not onboard on Kashmir issue, in which case Zardari is helping himself politically. I think punjab may be 100% with kashmiris, but not sure about other provinces.

Yes they do support the Kashmir struggle. Zardari and Altaf might have sold us out but the people are still behind their Kashmiri brethren.
Re: Zardari interview in WSJ/asks for $100billion, terms Kashmir fighters as terroris
alright is it just me or you guys find it odd that he has a BB pic infront of him while doing the speech at UN? I mean fine she was a "great" leader but really it is pathetic that we make her a great symbol of Pakistani politics..

Not only that. Zardari kept using word 'bloody' in his UN speech, that even though seems to mean 'khooni' still it is actually 'swear word'. Further, he told the leaders of the world in UN that just like 'Marshall Plan of post second world war', 'BeNazir's doctrine' would be Buzz word for 21st century, equivalent to 'Marshall Plan' of 20th century. He did not defined what is 'BeNazir's doctrine', but probably what he meant was that, twenty first century would be era of loot and plunder. Zardari wants the world to accept this doctrine of loot and plunder as 'Noble Deed', just like 'Marshall Plan of 20th century'. Now, he wants the world to give $100 billion dollars, so that he could loot and plunder, nicely. He wants to die as the richest man in the world. :)

I noticed that too, its a cheap shot I think. He probably might be thinking of gaining "sympathy vote" from UN as well.
and I was under impression that democracy is a better form of gov and is bound to filters all such corrupt crooks.

You do not realise that Musharraf left many corrupt crooks and now they are back to do what they are best, loot and plunder. For instance, biggest mistake by Musharraf was in 2000 when he pardoned the biggest thug born in Pakistan, aka 'Ganja Thug'. Then in 2004, Musharraf left Mr 10 percent Monchoon wala. In the end, Musharraf under pressure from all fronts, especially thug liars of Media, thugs in Judiciary, Bhangra dancers of law society, Corrupt-cum-Civil Society, corrupt teams of NGOS, human bombs of Shaitanic forces, Evil Mullah FM Radio, and Burkha-posh Maulana Evil Ninja of danda bardar Ninjees ... let both these thugs he pardoned along with 'Thuggan BB' to come back to Pakistan. Now we are in Mess.
Re: Zardari interview in WSJ/asks for $100billion, terms Kashmir fighters as terroris
All right guys, this is the time when some military leader with sympathy from general public take over democracy... this has happened in past as well..
diverting public from hot internal issues like terrorism, inflation, bursting stock market, these politician will fuel 'anti-indian' sentiments and will make clear way for corruption and death of democracy once again..
In past i have analysed out of 100 member in this forum, 80 were giving preference to solving home problems first and than cared about what US or India is doing.. Now all of sudden 75 out of those 80 are worried what 'name' Kashmiri militant were given.
there are only two options before aawam
1) think and act about economy crisis (debt, payment crisis, stock market), corruption, cross border terrorism
OR
2) What Zardari is talking about J&K
If you want to choose both there is no issues, but there has to be priority...
Re: Zardari interview in WSJ/asks for $100billion, terms Kashmir fighters as terroris
100 billion $ is more than twice current debt of the country (and 25% of the GDP in terms of PPP).. so Zardari want to triple the total loan overnight !!
Great Zardari has been making some interesting statements recently. This statement about 'India Never a threat to Pakistan' is an interesting one.
The next question the world would be asking is, if that is what the President of Pakistan is saying, then 'why does Pakistan need Nuclear Weapons?'
Interesting times ahead for Pakistan.
Aalsi bhai good observation. It only takes few words to create a propaganda campaign and Zardari just gave it a headstart by that statement.
When we have an Arse of a President like him or maybe not so Arse, then Pakistan ka waqai Allah Malik hai.
and I was under impression that democracy is a better form of gov and is bound to filters all such corrupt crooks.
Democracy doesn't guarantee that in 1st election :)

Aap kiya samjhtay hou, Zardari atna baywaqoof hay? Zardari has asked all of that $100 billion as GRANTS, not aids. That mean if he succeeds than it would not be loan, as aids are soft loan but grants are outright gift :).
Yes they do support the Kashmir struggle. Zardari and Altaf might have sold us out but the people are still behind their Kashmiri brethren.
perhaps you did not understand my question. In the absence of any polls on this issue, what makes you certain, that people in sindh or sarhad, share the same sentiments as people of punjab. It may not be a high priority issue for them, as it is for punjab. May be Zardari knows it.
Democracy doesn't guarantee that in 1st election :)
First ? I thought we have been through the election drill many times but we always end up having same crooks turn by turn and now its Zardari's Turn while NS waiting to turn the tables :)

The things are becoming clearer.
Watch this space. The statements from Great Zardari are becoming more interesting by the day. :)
Re: Zardari interview in WSJ/asks for $100billion, terms Kashmir fighters as terroris
I think...Zardari needs to see his psychiatrist immediately... :D
Haven't u ever negotiated before? you ask for 10, you settle for 5
The guy is trying to do something concrete and all u can do is criticise
TheRealDeal bhaijan. Please read between the lines. The $100billion that Great Zardari (The President of Pakistan) is asking for is the price for Pakistan to give up its Nuclear Weapons. Great Zardari has already started to build up the consensus by announcing that India is not and has never been a threat to Pakistan - hence Pakistan does not need Nuclear Weapons.
Do you believe $100billion that Great Zardari is asking for to give up the Nuclear Weapons is a fair price?
Watch this space.
Re: Zardari interview in WSJ/asks for $100billion, terms Kashmir fighters as terroris
^ Aalsi, you should be delighted, as an Indian right ;) Its time for malik to return.
Personally, as much as he'd love to, the military wont let that happen.
who cares what Altaf chacha and Zardari gadha are doing to each other?
both are corrupt to the bone. But while on this topic How can you call your chacha's income
halal. Allah is best to decide but my 2cents is that this SOB, POS sits in
London and is making decisions for 15-20million people. But he can't come to
pakistan because he knows he will get knocked off. Where is he getting all his money
to reside in London?
Anyways,
You guys should really be talking about Zardari and how to somehow get him
out of power. If he has made a deal with the U.S. and he is calling the cause
of Kashmiri's terrorism then how is he representing a democracy and isn't this against
everything that Pakistan has stood for in 60years? This is just
a continuation of Musharaff's rule where one un-elected man is running the country
into the ground. Probably 90%+ of Pakistan's population are against even helping the U.S.
and with the Kashmiri people let alone alowing U.S. to invade and cutting off even moral
support to Kashmir.
By the way where is powerful parliament. Where is the PM? Where is Nawaz Sharif?
Why isn't anyone telling this guy that he is supposed to be a sitting duck president not
making decisions for the whole gov't. Gillani has no pride in himself?
