Zardari gives Yousuf Pride of Performance Award after he announces retirement

Although I never approved of some of Yousuf’s off-field dramas and shenanigans in particular indulging in groupism and his decision to go and play in ICL in 2008, the least he deserved for his services to Pak cricket was an Inzi-style farewell test (preferably) or one-day game

Yousuf’s performances for Pakistan certainly deserve recognition - 7539 runs in 90 tests at 52.29 with 24 hundreds and 9720 runs in 288 ODIs at 41.71 with 15 hundreds - quite impressive

Yousuf has been hard done by PCB. Not sure about one dayers, but Yousuf could have carried on playing test cricket for another 18-24 months.

one of the very few deserving award receiver this year. Rest are just cheeley-chantey of Zardari.

Re: Zardari gives Yousuf Pride of Performance Award after he announces retirement

I seriously hope PCB gives him a chance to retire with grace like Inzi. Let him play a couple of ODIs/Test then he can retire. He deserves this.
