LONDON: President Asif Ali Zardari has donated Rs 2.5 million to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund. This was announced on Saturday by the Pakistani high commissioner to the UK, Wajid Shamsul Hasan, at the launch of a fund-raising appeal at the Pakistani High Commission. Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari launched the campaign, and flood relief accounts have been opened in various UK-based Pakistani banks to enable the people to deposit their donations. app
had he canceled his visit and donated the money spent on this visit, it would have been a lllllllloooooooooooooottttttttttttttt more than this peanut. as someone said, no so choohay kha kar billi hajj ko chali, so yeah good : p
PS: lets hope he do not ask for interest on this donation
no one here is as rich as our president u jerk......and the president have to set an example for the whole nation ....he himself is in uk getting beaten up by JOOTAS .
I have donated and my family is doing more than what this Zardari is doing. My cousin who is a doctor is taking a truck full of relief medicines and stuff to the affected areas along with money. Are you doing anything? Just because people don't like to tell if they are doing anything, doesn't mean they are not doing anything! Mr Real Deal.
All the people criticising, I wonder how much they have donated.
