Re: Zardari claims he’s best for PM’s job.
The rumors are he has paid a large sum of money to Musharraf in return for unfreezing his 1.8 billion dollars bank accounts…and to become PM…I don’t think he has paid this money to make Amin Faheem the PM>>
For an interim period he will find a weak person to do this job…but right after he is elected to parliament from BB’s Larkana seat…he will surely be the candidate for PM job himself…
As far as 8 years in prison are concerned they were not without a reason…and without this deal with Musharraf and NRO he will have to spend many more…meanwhile enjoy the words in which Newsweek has described Zardari…
**A former playboy and polo star, Zardari is considered a mistrusted—and divisive—figure in Pakistan. He is widely blamed for the tangle of corruption that strangled and cut short Bhutto’s terms in office. “The PPP has the potential to be far more than the party of the Bhutto family. It had been putting itself forward as the legitimate reform party,” the administration official said. “There is some concern if the party reverts back to a somewhat monarchial-style system.” Syed Farooq Hasnat, a scholar at Washington’s Middle East Institute, said that Pakistanis “are not ready for Zardari.” **
