ISLAMABAD, April 08: In beaming countenance, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, who was on a day’s long visit to neighbouring India, returned back to Islamabad on Sunday.
During his the day, he has offered prayers at the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moninuddin Chisti and prayed in the company of his 23-year-old son Bilawal Bhutto ZardariBilawal Bhutto Zardari, son of slain PPP leader Benazir BhuttoBenazir Bhutto, amidst strict security measures.
**He also announced a grant of 10 million $ for the shrine. **Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto offered ‘‘chadars’’ at the dargah.
“The soulful happiness that I have experienced at this holy place is beyond explanation. I pray to Allah to make life easy for the entire humanity,” Zardari wrote in a diary placed at the dargah.
While during a luncheon hosted by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan SinghPrime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi, president Zardari held one-on-one brief talks over certain issues
Both leaders appeared in upbeat mode about the constructive steps taken for bolstering the confidence between two countries.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also hinted that he would visit Pakistan on a mutually convenient date.

Not that it makes any difference, but Geo tv was quoting 10 lakh rupees, as opposed to 10 million dollars by other networks.
At the end of the day, it doesnt matter, as it was promoted as a private visit (made on public money)....but then again, theres hardly anything that Zardari does that is not on public money. Once a parasite, always a parasite.

mushi's trip 8 years ago had cost rajasthan govt $12 million (which he cancelled at the last moment), AZB's trip must have cost us way more. we arent complaining about his "private visit".
show the same zeal against the real power holders who are the richest generals in the world.

But Sannan isn't it double standard that if a civilian government do an act, we start condemning that, but if an army/military dictator did the same, we close our eyes by saying its our internal matter. Why army is not accountable for the acts and damages they did to Pakistan?

No its not double standard. I was against Pervaiz Musharaf as well and my brother did street theater against him in Multan when no one was ready to come on roads.
But I can’t bear a single word about whole army who are our defenders.
Pakistan Affairs is only discussing the Pakistani Matters and I dont’ think so that there is a need of 3rd party to come and start commenting. For them we have All views and World Affairs and they can show their Anger over there.

You are right.. but If army claims to be the defender and Maseeha of Pakistan, why can’t they see the problems of common men deprived of basic facilities. Our Fauji Jawans are also brainwashed to read qaseeda of those officers who consume majority chunk of our budget on the name of fight with India.
I’m not against army, but this approach of consuming nations resources should be ended now
