Did any of you see this film? Its playing in Toronto right now - its a Pakistani film - a modern day “Robin Hood” - or so they say. I seen it, the story was weak and it was very very long. The acting also sucks (for lack of a better word). But its one of the only art films that has come out of Pakistan in a long time. Its playing at Toronto’s Planet-Indie festival (whatever the hell that is), the director is also in town to push the film.
But again, I have to warn you, its not that good and its long. I think its playing at Bloor Cinema at Bathurst and Bloor (thats where I seen it). If you want to support something Pakistani you can watch the film. I think tomorrow is its last showing.
