but Zamad has proved in last few episodes that he can sing out of his comfort zone as well.

I was not impressed by either from what I heard of them in the final round. Otherwise didn't watch it regularly so can't say! Maybe their voices went bad singing all these weeks, lol. But yah looking at personality, I thought the other guy would win.
Anyways, best of luck to the winner and may he do us proud :).

It was a very close competition.
If three last contestants to be considered, all three were great in their own ways. Don't know why third was eliminated. I have to watch that episode.
M. Shoaib was awesome. He delivered notes better than Zamad.
But Zamad Baig also did excellent job.
Since Zamad won, then that is fine.
The contest had some undue advantage to Zamad though based on his ability to sing particular songs well and his voice and accent suited for those songs.
Anyhow, no big deal. Zamad still is a good singer.
Next time they should not show bias and favor to Punjabi songs IMHO.
