Is it deduct-able from monthly salary? If saving of monthly salary increase the nisaab in a month then in the next month it decrease then how to keep track on deduction of zakat from monthly salary?

From what I know, we pay it after annual expenses and obligations are taken care of. Over the course of the year, we have many incidentals that we dont plan for..so i dont think its practical to have it done monthly.

Zakat is actually calculated annually… I never heard monthly deduction…
It is like one complete financial year… you deduct it based on your available assets…

Zakat is not on income but on your saving or assets. No matter how much your income is if you use it all and do not save then no zakat on that.

If I remember correctly what I heard in this context, I’m pretty sure we can not only deduct it from monthly salary but also pay it monthly or whenever during the whole year instead of waiting for year-end to pay Zakat. ALLAH knows better.

It depends on what you have at the time when your zakat payment is due, and then the zakatable amount is adjusted against what you owe. If you really want, you could take out 2.5% of your earning each month to cover the amount on the monthly salary but in some cases it may end up being more than the actual required amount.
