anyone know a website where i can calculate my zakat in rupees.
or can someone tell me,

my gold - worth 16, 261 in uk pounds.

and i have 750 pounds.

zakat in rupees??

convert 750 into rupees, and calculate 2.5% of it.

for gold, if you are using it then you dont need to pay, if you are not using it then you need to pay.

if gold is more than 86 gram then you have to pay it, in case you are not wearing it.

To change Tolas to grams:
Nisab = 7.5 (Tolas) x 11.664 = 87.48 grams
87.48 x price of gold per gram = X
X = Nisab of gold in pounds
X divided by 40 = Zakat

think you need to pay zakat on gold regardless if you wear it or not.

I believe, it depend on the usage. If you wearing bangles/etc. these item exempt from nisab. Mean, you dont need to pay it because it is in your regular usage.

But if you dont wear then you need to pay.
