Paracha is a weirdo and he has a non existent fan base. Zaid Hamid has a much larger fan base than Paracha can ever dream off. Paracha is boring and has a problem with “Islam”. He wants it to be passive and submsisve to the West so he can live his culturally Western life style. He complains about Arabic Islamic fashions being imported in Pakistan yet he is nothing but a Gora wannabe. He has an identity crisis and his writing is immature.
Zaid Hamid’s background appears to be more murky and he is very active online. He has a lot of followers. He touches the young generation of Pakistanis with his aggressive style of politics. he is very critical of the current government and they dont appear to do much about him - he must have very powerful backers. Some of the things he says are very controversial even against neighbouring countries like india. However, he seems to have been wary of Obama and anticipated the change in the USA policy towards Pakistan way before he got elected.
A lot of people laugh at the idea of a Kaliphate but the only thing that will save the Muslim world is uity with one another. Even after Independence most of these countries live in hatred next to one another.
You might hate Zaid Hamid but dont use him as a excuse to laugh about Islamic prophecies. Yes he is freaky and a cultist but I have a feeling Paracha just wishes for that sort of following and nothing else.
