Any information about his life?
what kind of information you need?
You might know that he was adapted son of the Prophet, who later married Prophet's cousin. When that cousin could not settle with Zaid (RA), he divorced her and then Prophet married the lady. It has been made controversy by west, where incest and all such relationships are getting sort of mild approval.
If you want to look at that controversy then google is full of such filth. Even, best seller books like 'the First Muslim' also contains spicy material by saying that Prophet never saw Zainab (RA) till she was married to Zaid (RA) and when he saw her, he got her divorced to marry her. Such a hypocrisy from the writer, who on one hand kept on dramatising 7th century events, as if she were present there and when comes to this issue she did not realise that cousins in 7th century Arabs could not be hidden from each other. Even Quranic orders for pudah were enforced at last years of Prophet's life.
If you want to look at slavery angle, he was freed but he opted to live with the Prophet (SAW).
PS: I've corrected the title.
Re: Zaid bin Haris
I do not think so that incest is endemic in the West. Here even they do not even marry cousins here as they consider them sisters and brother. Very few people doing this can not be generalized for all the people here.
Humans through (during the course evolution) learned from their experience that incest relations were giving rise of birth of genetically disabled kids (this happened in like 100,000 years time) long and long time before any religion banned them. So with human being becoming civilized over the history , they set rules like that.
Ironically the theory of creation as proposed by the jews (who invented Abrahamic religions some 4000 years ago) allowed incest among children of Adam and Eve.
Re: Zaid bin Haris
I didn't say endemic. I said mild approval and that with expression 'similar relationships'. You can judge the difference between two statements.
Now coming to the point, what was the main point about Zaid Bin Haris (RA) that you want to discuss.
Re: Zaid bin Haris
Thanks! You have already answered that.

Glad that you get the answer. We may raise questions and find some faults in Islamic concepts (which developed due to different interpretations made over a period of time and mixing of cultural norms which were later considered part and parcel of the religion), but if we talk about Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Zainab (RA), the allegations made by western writers are shallow and flawed.
How come a person made his adapted son to divorce his wife to marry her. Prophet's life is well documented and Hazrat Zainab was at first not ready to marry a slave (Zaid). This later resulted in conflict between husband and wife. If prophet wanted to marry (due to the beauty of the lady), he could easily have done so before she was married to Zaid (RA). The allegation that when he saw her after marriage, her beauty made him to get her divorced is flawed as they were cousins and have seen each other at many occasions.
How come an intellectually honest person infer that the divorce of Zaid and Zainab (RA) were because of Prophet's own wish, when we know that Prophet (SAW) spent his youthful years (25-50) with a lady who was 15 years elder than him and did not marry any other woman in her life. Even he was offered most beautiful women, on the condition that he would not preach.
