It was in 2003-04 that ZAIBUN'NISSA was produced & directed by Sahira Kazmi for PTV, based on the concept/story by Azra Babar.
Sahira's daughter Nida played the lead opposite to our Adnan Siddiqi.. in this serial based on typical family issues and the self created misunderstandings between husband-n-wife....mostly the newly married ones.
It was a good serial---and had a large viewership.

this drama was one of my favorites!! my whole family enjoyed it. ^really? it was made in 03/04?? i thought it was an older drama! who played zaib's role?

Like I said....**NIDA KAZMI **the daughter of Rahat & Sahira Kazmi...played the lead---ZAIB'UN NISSA. Nida is elder to Ali Kazmi..the young and robust lad who has done some very interesting plays and serials alongside adverts., which have emerged him amongst the youg ones--we are glad to see making waves in Pak Showbiz on the tube.
Not to change the subject, our ALI KAZMI..coming January, ties the knot with with Alyzeh.
Regarding your desire to watch ZAIB UN'NISSA...I guess the blessed one has proven--the worth of his/her pseudonome by helping you out there on your desire.

excellent drama, loved it! i think it was very close to life...a strong social msg, there is a lot of domestic abuse in our society which no one talks about least of all the girls...so it was a very delicate and brave subject handled beautifully, only sahira kazmi could pull it off. loved sania saeed's part.

Arjay Uncle correction -- Zaib-un-Nissa went on air in Fall 2000 and not the years you mentioned.
