Do you like origin stories and reboots? Let’s hope so, because Hollywood’s superhero contingent is officially obsessed with them.
If there’s a superhero flick in the works, chances are it’s an origin story. Forget Wolverine’s early days and how ‘Batman Begins.’ Almost every special-powered hero is having the camera turned on their early crime-fighting days. ‘The X-Men’ is getting a first class only years after names like Ellen Page and Anna Paquin attended Professor Xavier’s school. ‘Spider-Man’ was just getting into more adult themes, and now he’s been sucked back to school and into the body of Andrew Garfield.
To top it all off: Now that Superman has returned, he’s getting rebooted into some sort of origin story.
