Hello guys, I will be making a trip to NYC next week. Just wanted to know if there are any famous desi or arab zabiha (halal) restaurants in any part of New York. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: Zabiha restaurants in New York
Well I posted this in the other thread…
Jackson heights has plenty of desi restaurants, including Kabab King (the first one that comes to mind)..if you’re taking the subway, just take the R, F, V, E, or 7 train to 74th street, get off and just start walking around..ure bound to find a restaurant there…
Coney Island, has more Pakistani restaurants, liek nawab Palace, Bukhara, Paradise East (a new one that opened up).. Theres also Bahar, which si Afghani…
Not sure about Arab food, there are tons of gyro carts around the city (most famous being the one on 53rd and 6th) that are halal…
For pure chinese, theres greenhouse on 29th and park ave south and for Indo-chinese, as well as vegetarian/south Indian restaurants, go to 28th street and Lexington Avenue in teh city…
Re: Zabiha restaurants in New York
go to zabihah.com
Re: Zabiha restaurants in New York
^ Exactly...it is the best site for this stuff.. I have used it myself...
Re: Zabiha restaurants in New York
thanks for the input guys, I have checked out Zabihah.com, though it is very helpful but the reviews on the website are mixed and most of them outdated. I am looking for people who have recently visited the restaurants within the last year.
