Now here is a story about an incident that happened not too long ago. There was an event that had American food but all the meats used were halal. The hotel charged extra for the meats to be Zabihal. There was an order for Chicago style pizza for the kids but the pizza was made by the management with pork toppings and since everybody was told that the meats used were all Zabiha ..they thought it was beef ..and half of the pizza was eaten until somebody asked the party host and at that time it was removed on his request.On top of it the htel mangement made it sound like the host’s fault that that meat was used.Anyway What would you do after the party. The incident wasnt publisized but has the potential of since the Hosts tried to make sure that everything was zabiha …and porky pig is you know wayyy in the other end…Haram!!!And the gunah goes to the hosts too but then again their neeyaat was not that .
Now what would you do if you were the Host? Would you want to you know ask what sort of compensation and apologisies to the affected people.

its a big issue. It need to be publicized and must be published inn the news paper and media. It is not a fault, but it is a crime and it need some serious action to be taken to give some lesson to management. They are not innocent as if they pretend. If I were you, I would sue them. Host has nothing to do with this issue.

why should the hosts be to blame? maybe their only fault was assumin that the management actually had enough brains to realize that pork was a big no-no. their mistake was putting faith in the management. IMO the mgmt shud be punished for their mistake. Also, since everything was consumed under the belief that it was HALAL/ZABIHA, there is no sin upon the guests or hosts... the true sin wud lie on the hosts if they had deliberately served pork saying it was zabiha beef, or the mgmt (if they are Muslim). If the mgmt was non-Muslim, then I don't know..

If the restaurant didn't know what halal is (since they put pork) what is the guarantee that beef used was halal to. Authorities should have been notified immediately. This is a serious mistake, restaurant management should apologise/compensate.

It's really difficult to figure out how the people who ate the pizza can be compensated. On top of that how is the hotel management going to be punished. I expect to see a heavy fine. I doubt the health department will terminate them permanently.

Maybe it was dark when they caught the cow and accidentally zibah a pig? Hey, it can happen.
