I think ppl from India only have that kind of thing where they say k him delhi waalay Haen, ya Hyderabad k Haen. So yeh Im not sure why that changed with Pakistanis. But Indians have a pretty strong caste system, maybe the Muslims don’t?

That’s what I’ve noticed. Unless they identify with being syed, most indian muslims I know can’t really tell you their zaat. I didn’t know if it was just something that most indians didn’t care about or if there really isn’t a muslim zaat system in place in India.
