I’ve heard so many women complaining about their Mother-in-laws, in real life as well as here on this forum.
To my surprise, I actually met someone who has a khaufnaak father-in-law, who yells at her, keeps tabs on her comings and goings, she has to ask his permission before going anywhere and even cooking, and actually told her to shut her son (his grandson) in the bathroom cuz the little boy was being fussy with his food. 
How does one deal with such a father-in-law, I wonder.
