New Delhi, April 7: Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh has continued his verbal attack on India captain MS Dhoni and has called him “arrogant” and drew camparisons with Ravana, the demon king in epic Ramayana. Yograj described Dhoni as a “terrible person” and said he will “suffer some day” just like Ravana.

What SID_NY said. Yuvraj has had form issues for the last 2 years. Same as Irfan pathan, zaheer khan or gambhir... now that he got a fat contract in IPL, his father is shooting his mouth...if his form issues continue in IPL, father will shut up

Dhoni an overrated person. Had unique ability to turn a sure victory into a thrilling close win. By blocking ball after ball and upping the run rate. Now he just turns potential victory to defeat.
Poor wicketkeeper. Doesn't dive. Even appeals half hearted.

Yuvraj Singh was man of the series in the 2011 WC that India won, and in the 2015 WC Yuvi wasnt in the team and we lost in the semi-finals. And if his inclusion was purely on form, Jadeja, Dhawan & Rohit should also have been dropped.

Nohit and Dhawan did all right. But Sir Jadeja was an abysmal failure.
After the cancer treatment Yuvraj didn't appear to be anything close to his former self. The T20 inning was remniscent of Gavaskar s 46 not out in 1975

You also need captian's confidence to be in the team. And it did pay off for Dhoni with Rohit & Dhawan. Jadeja, not so much, but still the team made it to Semi finals, that was more than I expected after the dismal series that preceded the world cup.

Sir Jadeja shoukd not have been allowed with a Mike of the stadium. Agreed - Nohit faltered to deceive. Dhoni was not the old Dhoni. Certainly not worth a no 6 slot. Against pace the tail kind of started with Raina.

Yuvraj's exclusion (from the WC squad) was puzzling for sure but should his father have launched such a highly personal attack (almost cursing Dhoni in public!!) on Dhoni?

Jadeja was probably not scheming to sabotage Dhoni's captaincy to get it for himself. Dhoni can count on him at least for that. Yuvraj Singh, like Gambhir and Sehwag before him, wants the captaincy for himself. He probably has 1 or 2 good years ahead of him to get there. Notice the timing of the attack. Just after Dhoni declares he is not retiring from ODIs and may even play in 2019. Which means, Yuvraj will not be able to become the captain; heck he might not even make it to the team.
