i just saw it in store but it was aweful looking...too old! do you know how to check for correct ripeness in lychees? why do they call it NUTS...lychee nuts? any guesses?

nope! some cultivars have a very small seed called "chicken's tongue"! :)

is it NOT available in Pakistan now? the season is at it's peak now in Canada...we get them from Korea. :)

I wish you could but again their life is short just like their season. They would become rotten Lychees which obviously tastes yuck :P
Waise I heard Lychee is a great source of Vitamin C and minerals

Lychee is still available in Pakistan at least in my city it is available but mehngi hy kafi.
