First of all… this isn’t a secret that she confided in me. Second, it’s not like I was spying on them, that I invaded their privacy. You lick ur boyfriend/husband’s face in public, ppl r gonna talk, and they must be very naive or dumb to think that everyone si gonna turn a blind eye to it.

I’m still not slandering anyone. In the above hadith, slander means you’ve said something against someone which is not true. In this case, it is very much true. I see your point though. I’ve never been anti-hijab and I don’t look at every hijaban girl as a slut. It does take a lot of courage to do it, but if you can’t do it right, then dont’ do it at all… And anyway, I didn’t really start this thread to bash hijabis. I just think licking faces in public is gross, scarf or no scarf :yukh:

If you read the hadeeth correctly, it says that talking some thing which is TRUE is actually BACK BITING (Gheebat) else Slander (bohtaan)
Majestic: I am sure you know the correct meaning of Hypocrite. Even Allah:swt: had to tell Himself to the prophet:saw: about who were Hypocrites in his time; not even Rasoolulah:saw: judged anyone like that and relied on Allah’s judgement. And Rasoolulah:saw: told about those hypocrites to only one of his Sahaabi:razi: and Syedena Umer Farooq ibn-ul-khattab:razi: used to consult that Sahaabi:razi: about it whenever any one used to die so that he can decide whether to pray Salah tul Janaza or not.
