there's a train crashing in the midwest
under a red dust sky
a nuclear bomb mushrooms out of my palm
and i blow dust particles onto you
my hair is falling off in clumps
joining yours
are we finally in sync now
Poetry is great
an easy task
all you have to do
is break into silent halves
a sentence
gramatically absurd
and unrhyming
short skirts help
too, sometimes
you want to polish me up
i could grow my nails an inch for you
manually turn back the clock an hour earlier
and hear you say i love you again
that nectar in your mouth as you bite down under the pink
thats blood
i like your sleek black car
do you still sing along to rob zombie in it
do you ever pretend you have julianne moore in the passenger seat
i set out my clothes for you ten months early
my sleek black pants
am i better than her
