I loveeeeeee Marlena from Makeup Geek. She’s not a fitness guru, but she shares her tips and techniques on how she transformed her self.

Re: YouTube fitness gurus.

^ WHOA! I feel better about myself after seeing her.

errr that sounds b*tchy but I didn't mean it that way. she looks good. I'm always afraid if I lose weight, I'll have the same shape...just...smaller, and lose in teh wrong places...lol...but it looks like her entire body shape has changed, and she looks really good....

Re: YouTube fitness gurus.

LOL yeh, before you edited I was like … oh… wow. how do i respond to that?! :hehe:

But yeh, she did an amazing job staying toned. She did, how ever, have a tummy tuck, after losing 100 lbs. She said she had some extra/ saggy skin in her tummy area, and just went in for a minor tummy tuck. Which, I see nothing wrong with. Everything else she did, she worked hard and kept the rest of her body toned so it looks like it worked out in her benefit.

I wish I was her :bummer:

Re: YouTube fitness gurus.

Did she lose the weight only from dieting or exercise too? cz if she exercised…there wouldnt’ be loose skin would there? :konfused:

Re: YouTube fitness gurus.

Yep, she was a on strict diet and worked out.
I guess, depending on age and the elasticity of the skin, regardless if you work out, there will still be some saggy skin.

I mean, because she was so over weight and her skin had stretched out SO much, even though she was able to drop the weight in a super healthy way (she lost weight really slow - 100 lbs in 2.5 years).

^ In that video she talks about how she lost weight and the after of her tummy tuck.
